Founded by Dori Saves Lives, the Zero Distracted Drivers Movement brings together students, families, schools, businesses, and communities to promote safer driving habits and prevent avoidable tragedies.

Our goal is simple: Zero distractions. Zero preventable deaths.

Advocate for stronger traffic safety laws and effective enforcement.
Prevent crashes, injuries, and deaths caused by distracted driving.

DISTRACTED DRIVING IS MORE THAN TEXTING

Distracted driving is anything that takes your attention away from the road, including:

Texting, calling, or scrolling on your phone
Adjusting navigation or music
Eating or drinking while driving
Applying makeup or grooming
Becoming distracted by passengers

Even a few seconds of distraction can have devastating consequences.

THE DANGER IS REAL

At 55 mph, taking your eyes off the road for just five seconds means traveling approximately the length of a football field without watching where you're going.
