AAA
AAA was founded over 100 years ago for the purpose of lobbying for driver and passenger rights, fair laws, and safer vehicles — all to better promote the love of the open road and the adventure of driving. Since then, AAA has grown to over 60 million members strong, while providing valuable membership services such as roadside assistance. Additionally, AAA has broadened its horizons to include all types of travel-related services, as well as offer a variety of insurance and financial products and services.
Today's AAA is a national federation comprised of 25 individual clubs throughout the United States and Canada. Whether you're traveling around the world or to the corner grocery store, planning a honeymoon or weekend road trip, learning to drive, or in need of a battery boost, the best way to begin your journey is with AAA.
For over 100 years, AAA has worked with schools and other organizations to keep those in our communities safe. AAA simplifies the driving education process for parents of new and future teen drivers.
AAA has developed an online course for parents of teens who are – or soon will be – learning to drive. The StartSmart Online Parent Session draws on AAA Foundation for Traffic Safety research to prepare you to navigate your teen’s learning-to-drive experience. This two-hour webinar explains the licensing process and parents’ role. It demonstrates how to reinforce what your teen is learning in driver education and how to maximize the practice driving that you’ll do with your teen. Teaching essential elements of safe driving in an interactive and innovative way, this online program aims to ensure that safe driving habits are developed and maintained for life.
