A teen driver who killed an off-duty cop and his wife because she was preoccupied with her phone has been sentenced to 60 days in jail — and must give 25 lectures on the dangers of distracted driving, a judge has ruled. Callison Olson, 18, of Elk River, Minnesota, was sentenced last week after pleading guilty to killing Blaine police veteran Steve Nanney and Marilyn “Susie” Nanney, both 51, in June 2018 during a head-on crash in Elk River, the Star Tribune reported.
